The following information focuses on the tax declaration in Switzerland for individuals. The way you declare your investments mainly depends on the investment type. Investments are either made through a convertible loan or a direct investment. In the case of a convertible loan investment, you have to declare it as a loan to the target company. In case of an equity investment, you declare it as a direct investment into the target company.
